| Legend Television was created by Shotokan Go-Dan, Ged Moran, in 1987 with an initial film archive of approximately 120 hours of various international karate competitions. This archive has grown to more than 1,100 hours of kumite and kata footage from international competitions and instructional events world-wide. The first program produced was "The Art of War" and featured such Shotokan notables as Enoeda, Kanazawa and Tanaka, as well as some of the finest competition fighters in the world. The first volume was so successful that a second volume was produced five months later: "The Art of War Vol. 2" outlined the differences between the full contact fighter and the traditional fighter. |
