Kiyoshi Yamazaki is the International Director and Chief Instructor of the Japan Karate-Do Ryobu-Kai; which is under the leadership of Yasuhiro (Takehiro) Konishi, the son of the founder of Shindo Jinen Ryu

Yamazaki Sensei is the current Chairman of the USA National Karate-Do Federation's Technical Committee. Part of Sensei's duties as an official of the World Karate Federation (WKF) include promoting Karate-Do around the world as a future Olympics event. Sensei Yamazaki is a also a member of the World Karate Federation's Referee Council.

Sensei's expertise in the martial arts has often attracted the eye of Hollywood, where he has served as technical advisor, martial arts instructor, and even actor. His celebrity students include Arnold Schwarzeneger (pictured above with Yamazaki Sensei and TV's Conan, Ralf Moeller), Sting, Richard Hatch, Sandal Bergman, Wilt Chamberlain, Bridget Nelson, and Grace Jones. One of his most recent film credits, "Dragon Heart", also featured martial artist/actor/publisher Terry O'Neall ("Fighting Arts International" magazine).
